1. Introduction
- These Terms and Conditions govern the use of TTrepairs services ("Services") and the relationship between you ("Customer") and TTrepairs ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking the repair, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not use our Services.
2. Services
- TTrepairs provides repair services for a variety of electronic devices, including but not limited to: smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, and game consoles.
3. Customer Obligations
- Provide accurate information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the device to be repaired, including the make, model, and the specific issue.
- Device condition: You are responsible for ensuring that the device is free from any harmful substances or materials.
- Device condition for internal repairs:
- iPhones (under iPhone 15): For internal part replacements (e.g., battery) on iPhones older than iPhone 15, the screen must be intact. Applying heat and suction to remove the screen for internal access on a damaged screen will likely cause further damage. Therefore, a screen replacement will be required in such cases.
- iPhone 15 and above: For internal part replacements on iPhone 15 models and newer, the back glass must be intact for safe access to internal components.
- Payment responsibility: You agree to pay all fees associated with the repair, including but not limited to: diagnostic fees, parts costs, and labour costs.
- Deposit: By booking your service, you agree that a £15 deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable and must be paid before we can commence any repair work.
- Booking Cancellations: By booking a specific date, you acknowledge that your appointment may be cancelled. We will communicate any such cancellation to you at least 24 hours before the scheduled repair time. If your booking is cancelled, a re-allocation of your repair time will be necessary.
Data backup: You are responsible for backing up all data on the device before submitting it for repair, as we are not responsible for any data loss during the repair process.
4. Repair Process
- Diagnosis: Upon receiving your device, we will conduct a diagnostic test to determine the cause of the issue.
- Repair estimate: We will provide you with a repair estimate, including the cost of parts and labour.
- Estimate approval: You must approve the repair estimate before we proceed with the repair.
- Testing: Once the repair is complete, we will test the device to ensure proper functionality.
- Notification: We will notify you when the device is ready for pickup or delivery.
4a. Diagnostics
- Purpose: For unknown device issues, our Diagnostic Service identifies the fault.
- Fee & Credit: A £15 fee is payable. This is fully credited towards your repair if you proceed.
- Non-Refundable: The fee is non-refundable if we can't find a fault or you decline the repair.
5. Warranty
- LifeTime Warranty: TTrepairs offers a LifeTime Warranty on select high-quality screens (Premium LCD, Budget OLED, Premium OLED). This warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship, excluding glass breakage and damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accident.
- Original Apple Parts Warranty: Please note that some original Apple parts may not carry a warranty from TTrepairs. Any such exceptions will be clearly stated in the product description for that specific part or service.
- Budget LCD Warranty: Our Budget LCD option comes with a standard one-year warranty with a £15 excess charge for any repairs needed within that timeframe.
- Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, you must contact us within the warranty period and provide proof of purchase.
Warranty Voidance: The warranty will be void if the device undergoes any repairs or modifications by a third party after the initial repair by TTrepairs. Additionally, if the device has been opened or worked on by anyone other than TTrepairs after our repair, the warranty will also be void.
6. Device Replacement Policy
- In the unlikely event that your device cannot be repaired, TTrepairs will endeavour to provide you with a similar device of equal value to the current market value of your device at the time of the repair attempt, or offer a suitable replacement device at our discretion.
